Short presentation:
The car was designed by Ercole Spada at the time at the head of the design of the Milanese Zagato body and was presented on 27 October 1969 to the international press in the Biscaretti Museum, the next day it was exposed to the public in the Turin motor show.
It is a coupe produced in 1108 specimens with an engine capacity of 1290 c.c. produced between 1969 and 1972. The engine and mechanics came from the Alfa Romeo Gt Junior. The front lights were covered with a Plexiglas plate which optimized aerodynamics while the rear lights were the same ones that fitted the Alfa Romeo 1750 sedan of the same period. The step of mt. 3.90 shortened compared to the Giulia Gt. The four-cylinder in-line engine powered by two Weber 40 DCOE 28 double-barrel carburettors. The double overhead camshaft distribution and two valves per cylinder for a power of 89 hp at 6000 rpm. Compression ratio 9: 1, max. 175 km / h. The rear-wheel drive transmission with the five-speed manual gearbox. Disc brakes on 4 wheels, front suspension with independent wheels, rear with rigid axle.
